Description:
The Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a range of paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.

Role of the Paediatric First Aider • Seizure • Primary survey • Choking • Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED) • Minor injuries • Wounds, bleeding and shock • Recovery position
Certification:
The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course. Students must be a minimum of 16 years of age to qualify.
